HSBC named “Best Bank in Hong Kong” by Euromoney

In Hong Kong, HSBC won three awards in total, including Hong Kong’s Best Bank for Large Corporates and Hong Kong’s Best Investment Bank for Debt Capital Markets (DCM).

Last year in Hong Kong, HSBC grew its customer base to 7 million in Retail Banking & Wealth and 367,000 in Commercial Banking. It also held #1 market share across key product areas, including deposits, unsecured lending, insurance, payments, and trade finance.
Across the region, HSBC was the most awarded bank in Asia, receiving more than 30 accolades across 15 markets, including Best Bank / Best International Bank in eight markets. HSBC’s Group Chief Executive, Georges Elhedery, was also named “Banker of the Year” by Euromoney.
The Euromoney Awards for Excellence are widely regarded as the industry benchmark, celebrating institutions that demonstrate exceptional leadership in delivering comprehensive, high-quality services to their clients.
HSBC was also named “Best Bank in Hong Kong” at the FinanceAsia Awards 2026 earlier this year, reflecting strong momentum and consistent performance in the city.
